Blackstar is a Brazilian game development company passionate about creating remarkable experiences for gamers. During its rebranding process, the team wanted to translate the essence of its new narrative, inspired by a cosmic phenomenon, the black hole, into a digital experience that felt immersive, cohesive, and emotionally engaging.

The challenge was to design a website that not only showcased the brand’s creativity but also reflected its new visual identity, while ensuring scalability and design consistency for future updates.Users abandoned the flow early due to confusing steps, wrong employer data, and lack of guidance. The process also felt outdated compared to the new brand direction.

I led the creative direction and UX UI strategy, combining branding principles, interaction design, and content architecture. Using tools like Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator, I developed the entire design flow to align storytelling, aesthetics, and usability.

AI tools such as ChatGPT were integrated to explore and refine brand pillars, tone of voice, and narrative alignment, ensuring every decision supported the brand’s conceptual foundation.

Additionally, the structure was built with Auto Layout in Figma to guarantee responsiveness and a streamlined handoff process for developers.

The solution:

Built a scalable design system including color palette, typography, iconography, and visual components • Implemented responsive layouts to ensure visual consistency across devices • Created a documentation library for efficient developer handoff • Defined five conceptual pillars guiding design and communication tone • Ensured accessibility compliance, improving readability and interaction clarity
